Never needing to hunt down and back up saves or install FRAPS (or whatever the heck kids use these days) is still such a wonderful convenience. in fairness it only takes 30 seconds to crack the steam version. It's also more convenient for the people who bought it, and the future availability of your purchase isn't reliant on the trust system. If i had a twitter i would ask john carmack himself about the sub-par steam version, or even better, about a GOG version.Cloud saves and built-in screenshotting - two of my favourite Steam favourites - are coming to GOG Galaxy, the optional client from the virtuous virtual vendor of video games. Great now it's easier for people to Pirate it. Aside from the prior game content ported to the Kex Engine by Nightdive Studios and an updated set of visuals, the game includes a new campaign by MachineGames titled Call of the Machine, as well as the campaign from the 1999 Nintendo 64 port.
